Crayo’s pricing page shows three plans and a toggle. The numbers you see first are the annual prices; the four meters underneath are what decide how many videos you actually get. This page lays them out plainly, works through what a month of posting costs, and compares it with paying per rendered minute. Prices were read from crayo.ai/pricing in September 2026.

The four meters

A workflow credit is one auto-edited video: a Reddit story, a texting story, a split screen, a streamer clip, an auto-clip or a quick-subtitles job. Export minutes are the length of everything you download. Voiceover minutes are narration generated by the AI voices. AI images are a separate count for the image generator.

For a narrated story video all four move at once, and the smallest one is the real limit. On Hobby that is voiceover minutes: 30 a month. Thirty one-minute stories use all of them while 10 export minutes and 20 workflow credits go unused. On Pro the export minutes (240) run out before the workflow credits (250) if your videos average a minute.

Because the meters reset monthly and do not roll over, a plan is priced for its best month, not your average one. If you post daily every month, the maths is fine. If you post in bursts, the quiet months are paid for and not used.

How StoryTok prices the same videos

One meter: 1 credit per rendered minute, rounded up, minimum one per video. Premium ElevenLabs voices cost 2 per minute; included voices cost 1.
Packs, not plans: $5 for 20 credits, $10 for 60, $50 for 360. Nothing renews. Credits never expire.
3 trial credits at signup, no card. Trial renders carry a watermark; any paid pack removes it.
Failed renders refund automatically, and stories settle on the measured length of the finished video, so a 50-second video costs one credit, not the estimate.

Questions people ask

How much does Crayo cost per month?

As of September 2026, Crayo’s pricing page lists Hobby at $13, Clipper at $27 and Pro at $55 per month when billed annually ($160, $327 and $664 a year), described as a 30% discount on month-to-month billing, which works out to roughly $19, $39 and $79.

Does Crayo have a free plan or free trial?

No. The pricing page lists no free plan or trial, and Crayo’s API documentation states that free accounts have no credits or storage. Crayo does offer some free browser-side utilities (a video trimmer, compressor and similar) that are separate from the video generator.

Do Crayo credits roll over?

No. Crayo’s FAQ states that subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. One-time top-ups are tracked separately.

Does Crayo give refunds?

Crayo’s FAQ states: “Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds.” You can cancel at any time and the plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle.

What is the cheapest way to make Reddit story videos?

For occasional use, pay-as-you-go. StoryTok’s $5 pack renders 20 minutes of finished video, roughly 20 short story videos, and the credits keep until you use them. For daily posting with heavy use of extras like AI images, a Crayo plan can be competitive.
