By accessing and using StoryTok ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
StoryTok is an AI-powered platform that allows users to generate short-form videos using automated tools for speech synthesis, subtitling, and video editing, and, optionally, to publish those videos to social media accounts they connect.
- Credits System: Our Service operates on a credit basis. Credits pay for rendering and for publishing.
- Rendering: 1 credit per minute of finished video, rounded up to the next minute, with a minimum of 1. Videos narrated with a premium voice cost 2 credits per minute. Highlights jobs are charged on the length of the source video you submit (after any trim), not on the length of the clips produced.
- Publishing: 1 paid credit per video for each connected account it is posted to. Two accounts on the same platform count as two. Scheduling a post does not cost extra. Trial credits cannot be used for publishing.
- Pricing: Credits are purchased in one-time packs: $5 for 20 credits, $10 for 60 credits, and $50 for 360 credits. There is no subscription. Prices are subject to change.
- Free Trial: Eligible new accounts receive 3 free trial minutes, for rendering only. Videos rendered with trial credits carry a watermark and cannot be published from StoryTok. Purchasing a pack removes the watermark from videos rendered afterwards; it does not change videos that already exist.
- Refunds: Credits are generally non-refundable. However, if a render fails, the credits for that specific job are automatically returned to your account. If a post fails, the publishing credit for that post is returned; the credits for the render it belongs to are not, because the render succeeded. Canceling a scheduled post before it has been handed to the platform returns its publishing credit.
- Expiration: Credits never expire.
- Your accounts: You may connect TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts that you own or are authorized to post to. Accounts are connected through a third-party publishing provider, Post for Me; see our Privacy Policy for how that works.
- Your authorization: Posts made from StoryTok are public. A post is sent only after you confirm it, or, for an Autopilot series, after you switch on automatic posting for that series. With automatic posting on, videos are posted without a review until you switch it off.
- Your responsibility: You are responsible for what you publish, including its captions and titles, and for following the terms and policies of each platform. Those platforms decide how a post is classified, distributed, monetized, restricted or removed. We make no promise about reach, monetization or how a platform treats a video.
- Timing and availability: Scheduled posts are sent at the requested time subject to processing and the platform being available. Autopilot posts are sent after the video has rendered, not at a guaranteed time. Publishing depends on third-party services and may be delayed, fail or be withdrawn.
- Removing posts: Canceling or disconnecting in StoryTok does not remove a post that has already been published. Remove it on the platform.
You agree not to use the Service to generate or publish content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive.
- Infringing on intellectual property rights of others.
- Containing malware or malicious code.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your Content: You retain all rights to the original videos and content you upload. You grant us a license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service, including sending it to the social platforms you choose when you publish.
Service Rights: We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the StoryTok platform, software, and underlying technology.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
